Crispy Buffalo Ranch Chicken Bites with Honey Drizzle
Ingredients
For the Chicken Bites:
1 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 large eggs, beaten
Vegetable oil for frying
For the Buffalo Sauce:
1/3 cup hot sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
For the Honey Drizzle:
2 tbsp honey
For Garnish:
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or green onions
Directions
Prepare the chicken: In a large bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Dip chicken pieces into the beaten eggs, then toss in the flour mixture to coat evenly.
Fry the chicken: Heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 375°F (190°C). Fry the chicken in batches for 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
Make the Buffalo sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together hot sauce, melted butter, and ranch seasoning until smooth.
Coat the chicken: Toss the crispy chicken bites in the Buffalo sauce until well coated.
Drizzle with honey: Arrange the chicken bites on a serving platter and drizzle with honey for a sweet finish.
Serve: Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
