Ingredientes:

- 2 cucharadas de mantequilla sin sal

- 1 cebolla mediana, picada

- 2 dientes de ajo, picados

- 4 tazas de caldo de pollo

- 3 libras de papas, peladas y cortadas en cubos

- 1 cucharadita de tomillo seco

- 1/2 cucharadita de sal

- 1/4 cucharadita de pimienta negra

- 1 taza de leche o crema

- 1/2 taza de queso parmesano rallado (opcional)


Instrucciones:

1. Derrite la mantequilla en una olla grande o en una olla holandesa a fuego medio.

2. Agrega la cebolla y el ajo y cocina hasta que se ablanden, aproximadamente 5
minutos.

3. Agrega el caldo de pollo, las papas, el tomillo, la sal y la pimienta.

4. Lleva a ebullición, luego reduce el fuego y cocina a fuego lento hasta que las
papas estén tiernas, aproximadamente 15 minutos.

5. Usa un machacador de papas o una licuadora de inmersión para triturar las
papas hasta obtener la consistencia deseada.

6. Agrega leche o crema y queso parmesano, si lo deseas.

7. Calienta y sirve.
