 Rosbif cocido a fuego lento al estilo toscano

Receta

Ingrediente:


2 libras de carne asada

1 cucharada de aceite de oliva

1 cebolla picada

2 zanahorias, picadas

2 tallos de apio, picados

3 dientes de ajo, picados

2 tazas de caldo de res

1 lata (14 onzas) de tomates triturados

1 cucharadita de romero seco

1 cucharadita de tomillo seco

Sal y pimienta para probar

2 cucharadas de perejil fresco, picado para decorar


DIRECCIÓN:



En una olla grande, calienta el aceite de oliva a fuego medio-alto. Sazone la carne con sal y pimienta, agréguela a la olla y saltee hasta que se dore por todos lados.

Retire la carne y agregue la cebolla, la zanahoria, el apio y el ajo. Cocine hasta que las verduras estén tiernas, aproximadamente 5 minutos.

Regrese la carne a la olla y agregue el caldo de res, los tomates triturados, el romero y el tomillo.

Llevar a ebullición, luego reducir el fuego a bajo y tapar. Cocine a fuego lento durante 3 a 4 horas o hasta que la carne esté tierna y se deshaga fácilmente.

Cortar la carne en trozos pequeños, ponerlos en la olla y mezclar con la salsa.

Adorne con perejil picado antes de servir.
