3-4 sweet onions Vidalia onions work well

4 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon oregano

1 cup shredded Italian blend cheese 113g

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 113g

½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese 57g

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and spray a 9×13 inch (23×33 cm) baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Cut the onions into 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) rounds and separate the rings.

Spread the onion rings evenly in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, and oregano.

Slice the butter into 8 pats and place them evenly over the onions.

Sprinkle the Italian blend and cheddar cheese over the onions, then add the Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown.
