Cinnamon-Sugar Pizza with Crescent Rolls
Ingredients:
2 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough
1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional: Sprinkles for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Crescent Roll Base:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and
spread it onto a large baking sheet, pressing it together to form a rectangle.
Pinch the seams to seal, creating a solid crust.
Make the Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture: 3. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated
sugar and ground cinnamon. 4. Brush the melted butter over the crescent roll crust,
then sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
Add the Second Layer: 5. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it on
top of the cinnamon-sugar layer, pinching the seams to seal. 6. Brush the top with
more melted butter and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over it.
Bake the Pizza: 7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is
golden brown and flaky. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Make the Glaze: 8. In a medium bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk,
and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust the milk to achieve your desired
consistency.
Serve: 9. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon-sugar pizza and sprinkle with
optional sprinkles for a festive touch. 10. Slice into squares or wedges and serve
warm.
