Boston Chocolate Cream Pie Cheesecake

Boston Chocolate Cream Pie Cheesecake

Ingredients:

- 1 cup sugar

- 1/2 cup melted butter

- 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened

- 1 cup heavy cream

- 1 cup sour cream

- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs

- 4 large eggs

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Start by preheating your oven to 325F (163C) so it's ready for your cheesecake.

2. Prepare the crust by mixing the graham cracker crumbs with the sugar and

melted butter in a medium bowl. Once well combined, pack this mixture firmly into

the bottom of a springform pan to create a solid crust.

3. For the cheesecake filling, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together

in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the eggs, mixing thoroughly

after each addition. Finally, fold in the sour cream and vanilla extract, ensuring

everything is well blended.

4. Pour the cheesecake batter onto the prepared crust, ensuring it spreads evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 55 minutes or until the center has set. After

baking, allow the cheesecake to cool and then chill it in the refrigerator for at least 4

hours, letting it firm up beautifully.

5. Prepare the luscious chocolate topping by warming heavy cream in a small

saucepan over low heat. Once warm, add the semi-sweet chocolate chips, stirring

continuously until they melt and create a smooth chocolate sauce.

6. Once the cheesecake has cooled completely, pour the chocolate topping evenly

over the surface, spreading it gently to cover every inch. Place it back in the

refrigerator until the chocolate has set.

7. Finally, slice the cheesecake into generous servings and enjoy its rich flavors

chilled.
