Not Yo Mama’s Banana Pudding

How to make Not Yo Mama’s Banana Pudding

Ingredients

  • 6 bananas, sliced about ½ inch thick
  • 1 box instant french vanilla pudding
  • 1 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1 box instant banana pudding
  • 1 to 2 boxes Nilla Wafers
  • 8 ounce tub Cool Whip
  • Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 ½ cups milk +/-

Instructions

Do not slice the bananas until you are ready to layer them

In a mixing bowl combine the instant banana pudding and the softened cream cheese.

Add ½ to ¾ cup of milk and beat until fluffy

In another bowl, combine the instant french vanilla pudding with ¾ cup of milk and beat until fluffy

Gently fold in the cool whip to the french vanilla pudding

Cover the bottom of a 9×9 baking dish with parchment paper

Layer the vanilla wafers across the bottom, trying to cover the entire pan, (you may need to break in half to do this)

Spread a layer of Banana pudding and cream cheese mixture over the cookies

Place a layer of bananas over the first layer of pudding mixture

Layer with Vanilla wafers

Top this layer with the French vanilla pudding and cool whip mixture over the cookies

Layer with sliced bananas over the french vanilla pudding mixture

Top with the remaining banana pudding and cream cheese mixture( you may need to add a few drops of milk to be able to spread this)

Finally place a layer of banana slices sporadically over the top

Place a small dollop of whipped cream on each banana slice

Drizzle the entire top lightly with Chocolate syrup

Cover with plastic wrap tightly and refrigerate until ready to serve
