Caramel Drizzle Red Velvet Oreo Bites
Ingredients:
1 box red velvet cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 cup water
1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions:
Prepare the Cake: Follow the package instructions to prepare and bake the red
velvet cake. Once baked, let it cool completely.
Crumble and Combine: Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl. Add the
crushed Oreo cookies and mix until well combined.
Form the Bites: Roll the cake mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking
sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare the Frosting: In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and
butter together until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract,
mixing until the frosting is smooth.
Coat the Bites: Dip each chilled cake ball into the cream cheese frosting, coating it
fully. Place the coated bites back on the parchment-lined sheet.
Add Caramel Drizzle: Drizzle caramel sauce over the frosted cake balls. For extra
crunch, sprinkle additional crushed Oreo cookies on top of the caramel drizzle
before it sets.
